When they continue to put themselves into situations and/or relationships that they know from past experiences will end up harming them.

I think if I admired certain qualities in that person, I would *still* admire those qualities even after I get to know him..i.e. if I still SEE those qualities. I really feel, that in a relation, it is easy to take things for granted and Forget what attracted you to the person in the first place. One needs to keep remembering that. The predictability can make one feel bored. Eg. one cant have the same dish everyday right, even if you love it.
And ofcourse, if I realize that there are qualities I don't like in a person ... qualities I did not notice previously, then my general admiration and attraction could reduce. Eg. a very cheerful, vibrant, optimistic person...(admired quality) but who flirts with girls also (I realized that later). So then, my admiration reduced and things changed with more knowledge and awareness of his other qualities that were previously not visible.

When that person is not interested in you at all and does not want anything to do with you.

Most of the time it's infatuation, you know the way he/she drinks water, laughs, even brushes their teeth. True feelings are those that are UNCONDITIONAL. That was just a for the moment thing.

They reveal themselves to be very judgemental.... or they are complete hypocrites (they do not practice the values they champion as being the most important).

If they picked their nose or something like that. Or if I found out they were cruel to children or animals. Or if it appeared that their actions were all for self gain.
