Its my daughters 2nd birthday and she really loves bouncy castles so I wanted to hire one to put indoors(in a hall), but I don't know if its a good idea or ont?
There will be about 10 2 and 3 year olds at the party, I know they would really love it but would it all end in tears? IAll the mums are my friends but I would be very embarassed if someone got injured on there.
What do you think?

Do they have a Jump N Jungle where you live. They have them where live and they are neat. I went to a party with a bunch of 2 year olds and they had a blast. It was a room filled with three bouncy castles and a slide. The room was just for them and was very safe. I suggest a place like that if you can find one.

If all the parents are present then they are resonsible for the safety of their own child so you wouldn't have to feel bad about any injuries. Anyway, at that age they're not creating too much bounce! There may well be a collision but I don't know one parent who doesn't anticipate that happening! 10 is a nice small number, the chances of them all being on at the same time are slim. The bouncy castle parties my children have been to have all been in the local leisure centre and they also provide small ride on cars and a few other toys small that can be played with so there's always something else to occupy the kids if they get fed up on the castle. If space in the hall allows then that might be something to consider. You don't say how long the party will be but even if the castle is up for half an hour it can be a long 30 minutes for just bouncing and an hour can take forever!
Happy birthday when it comes!

Yes iv got 2, 2 year olds and they love bouncy castles too. Just explain that you can only allow 4 on at a time for safety reasons and that they have to be supervised by thier parents at all times.

Wait a year or two. Two year olds are not known for their coordination, and it's just an accident waiting to happen with so many kids (it would be different if you were having just three or four kids). If you play it safe and make the kids take turns, then you've just got a lot of impatient and grouchy kids on your hands. 2-year-olds would have fun with a bouncy castle, but they'd also have a blast with a couple of blowouts, balloons, and cake.

I would go for it. My 20 month old loves bouncy castles too.
If the other mums are your friends, then you surely they would be supervising their own children so there shouldn't be any injuries.
I know I would be looking out for my own child at a party and I wouldn't expect the birthday child's mum to be responsible for my child.
Have a great time.

when you are booking the bouncy castle tell the company that it needs to be suitable for 2 and 3 year olds
they will probably hire you a smaller/lower model and you can always place gym mats around
good luck

I think they are dangerous...the only way to make them a bit safer is to ensure that no more than 3 kids are on it at a time...shoes off...and that there is always an adult present to watch over the kids...no climbing up the sides....if you can get crash mats around the castle even better....but remember that toddlers have very soft bones and ligaments and these castles can cause them to bounce very high...there is a risk of them landing on their neck or head.

They are best outside. Make sure there is lots of room around it, it needs to bend and move with the kids.
I Think 2 maybe alittle young for one. Kids that age generally just fall around in there! Then they bump their heads together. Older kids that can stand the whole time do better.
HERE IS A GREAT ALTERNATIVE:
clean out a room in your house ( bedroom size), leave the bed and put down some matts for cushion. Then blow up about 300-500 reg. balloons. Get a fan to blow into the room to keep it cool and to keep all the balloons in ( we used a floor blower, for carpet drying) and stuff the room full of the balloons! The kids can go nuts in there for hours. Its safe and fun, And you get great pics of everyones static hair!!! I recommend using an air compressor and enlisting friends to tie the balloons.
Did it for both my kids 2nd birthday! Hit of the neighborhood! We sent several balloons home with all the kids!

DEFINATELY GET ONE, I had one for my 4 year olds party but ther sister is 2 and alot of the kids were alot younger also, they absolutely love it and if you hire one from a company they will provide safety mats for the front, also the kids end up shattered after all the bouncing which makes for an easy bedtime, Im getting another one in September for my younger daughters 3rd birthday!

Get one!!! I had one for my son's 2nd birthday in july with a slide on it. It comes with the soft safety floor mats and the kids loved it!! The only thing I would say is that if you have any older brothers & sisters going let them have their own 'session' so they dont get too lively for the little ones & knock them over.
My son keeps asking for more birthday so he can have the castle again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
