How many atheists groups are there and how many members do they have?

The Bertrand Russell Society and the American Atheists Association are the only two and they are both moribund. Atheists are about 2% of the U.S. population. The Church alone has two billion; Islam another I billion. Compared to Christians and Muslims,they have about as much power as bugs.

Statistics are of no value since very few are enrolled members in any organization,but I would imagine the majority live in atheist cultures,such as China or the now-moribund Scandanavian states. There could be a billion,although I doubt it. There is no evidence for growth or for large numbers anywhere but China and Vietnam. There is nothing to indicate it is the wave of the future.

At last count there were 1.4 billion atheists/agnostics in the world. This number varys between statistics though, but it is never below 1 billion. Atheism/agnosticism is by far the fastest growing belief system in the world with it's numbers doubling in the last ten years. In fact it is growing faster than all the other major religions combined.

You said that Atheists attack Christians, but I haven't seen much of that.
At least not as much as Christians attacking Atheists.
