I guess a contract means nothing to you.

You have a job you volunteered for. Others are counting on you to do it, but you only worry about yourself. I hope you are not typical of the AF.

The military is NOT "a job". It is a complete life commitment for the period of time covered by the enlistment, and even somewhat beyond that in some circumstances. The military is going to use you as best suits their objectives. Your objectives are meaningless. How could anyone enlist thinking otherwise? It is highly possible that the experience you are getting will enhance your post-military opportunities. Nevertheless, the military is not a good place for people who do not have the commitment within themselves. Hope you are able to find a resolution for the sake of all involved.

if you are in a job that requires a security clearance... start going to the medical clinics mental health office for counselling.... once you have been in counselling for a couple of months... go to the OSI and declare yourself as a security risk due to stress.... (instant removal of security clearance)

Make sure you want out tho. because once you self-declare as a security risk.. you will never get another security clearance--military or civilian--- which can effect job opportunities with certain companies

what is it about your job that you hate............could it be where you are stationed is not helping either??? unless you wish to screw up the rest of your working career maybe you will just have to suck it up for the next 2 years.......maybe you could really focus on getting your ducks in a row for your next choice and get some extra schooling under your belt between now and then...but basically unless you announce you are gay etc can not see much of a way out for you at this moment.

regards

So what is so bad about your job that you can't stick it out for another two years?
Of course, knowing what job it is may make it easier to know how you can get out of it.

I knew a guy who had a crazy wife. She accused him of all sorts of outrageous things. They pretty much asked him to leave. But he didn't get his retirement (he was only 5 years away).

So marry a crazy lady that will tell everyone that you are an incestuous pedophile cross dresser. It worked for him!
