Jeff is my fav driver forever!!! I love him because he is honest, fair, will race a driver clean until they give him a reason not too & truly loves what he is doing. he still smiles alot & takes time to give an autograph or stop for a picture with a fan...Class act all the way...
As for his bro WARD, he does NOT have a speech impediment & he is NOT "slow". he speaks like everyone else in South Boston, Va. I know, i was there to see where my 2 favorite brothers were raised. Jeff sounds so different because he took classes to lose his accent years ago.
One of Jeff's favorite jokes when people ask why him & Ward sound so different is to say that Ward was raised in the southern most part of the house.

Jeff Burton is a class act. Very good driver, a great image that he presents to the public. Tends to be pessimistic like Mark Martin.

To me its like there are two distinct top groups in Nascar.I'm talking about "Top" groups, guys that can really get around a track. Now the difference in the groups is just as distinct. One group is the Stewart,Gordon,Johnson and others who week in and week out compete for wins.In the other group Burton,Kennseth,Martin who week in and week out finish very well are always top 10 just don't win as often as the first group mentioned, but are known as clean and gifted racers.. So if you did a personality profile on the fans within the two groups you would probably find stark differences in their fans.Woudn't that be a hoot.Sorry to go all Dr. Phil on you,so to get back Burton is talented, consistent, polite,an all around gentlemen and good driver.

Great driver and a class act. Just like Mark Martin. A lot of younger drivers could learn from him.

nicely, there's a reason they extremely hate him this one year: He retains getting stable finishes and wins; besides as his teammates Hendrick Motorsports have domintaed so some distance in 2007 only thoroughly ruled And thats why some non-Hendrick (Gordon, Johnson, Busch, and Mears altogether) followers do in comparison to them yet one extra reason could be which began final week at Pheonix; the tribute he did which became misinterpretted as something adverse in direction of Dale Earnhardt. Like Jeff's asserting, "Now i'm as stable as Dale Earnhardt." besides the undeniable fact that that isn't any longer that way, thats extremely fake He enjoyed DE...he had discovered lots from DE, which contributed to that win at Talladega No significant rivalries, i do no longer think of No, i think of the only one is with the followers Yup, the followers only hate him, hate seeing him win and get stable finishes I advise only face it: Dale Earnhardt would not have kit and a good-company to do stable song-clever and only only removed from the song a number of those merging-with-Yates stuff has sometimes afflicted him and he's only no longer at his superb guy, Jeff won Talladega! Why are they so mad? There must be no reason He won it effortless and sq. he's had a stable season because of the fact his company, Hendrick Motorsports, is waiting, good and has all the kit and persons to get wins and great finishes Thats only how that's, I advise look at what exceeded off to them in, i think of, 2005, while they lost those human beings. Hendrick's son and different storage and company contributors yet they are therapeutic from, they are literally, and it their one year besides the undeniable fact that that is only some "hooligans" as some call it that are putting them and NASCAR down
