I get really bad gas pains when I eat beans (who doesn't?)... Are there any foods that can help balance that out?

I know that bananas and peppermint both help your muscles to constrict and alleviate gas. You can try that! Also, umm if you put baking soda in your beans while cooking them, not much and it wont affect the taste i swear but just a couple teaspoons, it will actually counteract the gas hun :)

There's this stuff called Beano that contains an enzyme that breaks down the complex sugars in beans into simple sugars, so it generates less gass in your intestines when the beans are digested. It comes in a pill and liquid form, and you can find it at a drug store or in the dietary supplement aisle of your supermarket.
