Slice bananas lengthways. Heat some butter in a pan, about 4 tablespoons for 3 bananas, add 2 tablesppons of brown sugar firmly packed and for the adults a splash of Kahlua.
Allow to heat up until the sugar starts to melt. Add bananas and turn up the heat. Cook until bananas are warmed through and sugar has dissolved. Serve immediately on their own or with cream. Drizzle a little of the excess sauce over the top.
Delicious.
Have a great day/night!!!

How To Fry Bananas

2016-10-01 11:13:50 · answer #2 · answered by wojtowicz 4 · 0 0

Fried Banana Fritters

2 cups mash very ripe bananas
1-2 cup plain flour
1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1/2-1 cup sugar
1/2-1 teaspoon salt
1-2 cup water
oil (for deep frying)

Mix all ingredients and stir with the spoon or your fingers until the mixture becomes slightly thicker than a cake batter.

Heat oil in deep frying pan over medium flame. Using right hand finger tip, scoop about 1 tbs banana mixture into hot oil (Do it slowly and gently). Try to make it as rounded as possible.

Fry for 2 to 3 minutes before stir. Cook for another 3 to 5 minutes or until the colour turn slightly dark.

Serve hot with a cup of tea of coffee

p/s:This is a trial an error recipe. You have to keep on trying to do it until you get the right texture and flavour. Once you master it you can do it with your eyes closed. But, it is worth trying since it is a really nice and tasty snack. The ingredients below are flexible. It's up to individual taste. If you like more bananas you have to add less flour and the fritters will be a softer. If you prefer the fritters to be more rounded and spongy use more flour. Either way the batter must look like cake batter before frying.

To fry bananas use those that are still firm and slightly green - slice bananas in diagonal pieces (like you would carrots for stir fry but thicker) or simply cut lengthwise in half then in half again to fit pan - add butter to a hot skillet and place bananas cut side down into melted butter cook for 1 minute each side place on plate and sprinkle with Cinnamon sugar and serve - may also be used to top ice cream or enhance a peanut butter sandwich. Good Luck!

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://biturl.im/aU75p

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true
