Well, what if you are ready for a new relationship, so you are thinking about it a lot & you are on the lookout?...

And thinking that you need not think about it is still thinking about it...you know?

So guess I'll never find anyone until I'm so damn old & senile that I truly don't think or care about a relationship anymore.

Yes!!! That is how it happened for me..I was not expecting to meet anyone at all. I was in a terrible relationship with a guy who treated me like the biggest jerk in the world and I was so hurt that I swore off guys...I just was ready for a break and only a few months later, while still so broken from everything in my past, I met the love of my life...and everything changed...God used him to help heal me of my pain...He is my soulmate.
Hope this helps,
Mrs.H

Love happens. I don't agree with either. You could be looking and find someone. You could not be looking and find someone. Depends on who you meet. But with that attitude of giving up it's very difficult to think so. If you believe you're good enough and you are patient you will be fine. You might also be attracted to the wrong people. Relationships are never easy, there's work involved if you want them to last.

When you aren't thinking and stressing about having a relationship is when Mr. Right knocks at the door!

That's what happened to me. Last year, I ended a pretty crappy marriage, and when I felt I was ready to start a relationship again, things just didn't work.

When I came to my senses and started to focus on myself and what made me happy...not WHO could make me happy, I met my current boyfriend.

It's amazing how much he and I have in common. So I am sure that if you don't stress about it, your Mr. Right will come along :)

best of luck to you!

I don't believe that its true. People just say that because when you are not out looking for love and feeling sorry for yourself about it, you tend to focus more on you and be a happier person. Happy people attract love. But personally, I met my husband on an internet dating site...so we were both definitely looking!

It can cross your path at any time...although those that actively seek it are often advised to relax, live life, and just let it happen.

If you are going through life looking under every rock for "love" you're more likely to make a poor choice and 'settle' than if you just let it happen. ☺
