Why don't we deny medical care to illegal immigrants who come to our hospitals when they don't pay taxes?

It might be more humane to provide the service, and deduct the cost of that service from any money we owe their home country. We could bill their home country, too.

No child should be denied medical treatment anywhere at any time. Their parents are the criminals. It is sad that they will be charged as criminals just like their parents but even the Bible says the sins of the parents are visited on the children. Illegals in gunfights and knife fights, I could care less and I'm sorry that's the truth. But a sick person should be treated and then jailed or deported it's the humane thing to do.

In case of emergency rooms, it's illegal to turn away a seriously ill/injured patient. And, almost any condition will turn serious if you're refused medical treatment long enough, so most localities allow illegals to recieve some medical treatment, on the theory that it's cheaper to treat them a little earlier than force them to go to the emergency room when it gets really bad.

Obviousy, it would make even more sense to deport them, and even more sense than that not to let them in in the first place. But, there would be obvious PR problems with people /dying in the street outside emergency rooms/ because of our merciless, inhuman laws.

I think we should.
If you live in the screwed up state of Illinois you know that it could be worse. Our lovely govenor has a state wide health care plan, that seems to only be for illegals. I know of several families that tried to get it but the only ones that have succeed are illegal mexicans. now how much since is that. And now there is no money for school, road, or any government offices. So we are going to have a month were no one is getting paid. I kid you not but our govenor gave promisary notes to all the schools. what is the good in that?

Sorry ranting again. But i'm all for it. No health care or social secruity unless you pay into it.

If it is an emergency we should help whoever is in need.
You can't let someone bleed to death or have broken bones. It is not the American way to do that. I am totally against illegals see doctors for free when they don't belong here to begin with. An accident is another matter.

I think it is our duty as Americana's to take care of those in dire need that are in this country even if it is illegal. However we should deport them once they are well again.

We should also fine the heck out of anyone that rents to them and/or give them a job. If they could not get a job or place to live they would go home.

Instead of amnesty for the 12 million or more that are here illegally why not legalize the next 12 million who are waiting to get in legally.

I have gone to the general hospital for care and ended up waiting for hours along side of many illegals, its unfair to me, but i dont think they should be denied in cases of severe emergencies..we as Americans are not like this., but we do need to change the system

they are additionally putting on the polla degree which, if it passes, would direct the state criminal expert accepted to sue the federal government for non-enforcement of immigration rules, claiming the moneys spent to instruct and furnish different amenities to unlawful immigrants as damages.

Maybe because hospitalizes are a privet institution. Now if you want socialized medicine that's a whole other story.
