i have a 99 gmc envoy and i cant seem to locate the oil filter. anyone help point it out to me?

It's under a skid plate at the bottom of the radiator fan belt area. There is an access port that you just have to unscrew and it will swing down to get to the oil filter.

you will need to crawl under the truck and the filter should be at the back of the engine.
