Try doing Taco Night...my family loves it, offer lots of stuff to make unique tacos out of. This is easy, and a good way to clean out the fridge. Just about anything can be deliciously ate on a taco shell or flour tortilla. Left over spagehetti meatballs, meatloaf, green beans,etc.... Like I said, be experimental and have fun. You can make a few things to go on the tacos, also remember to get some sourcream.

Go get a can of pre made pizza crust and make some pizzas at home. Always fun to make and fun to eat. Then you only need some sauce, cheese and any other topping you may want.

Like Amy mentioned, whale gazing is relaxing. the appropriate place to do it quite is in San Diego. Now, are you seeking to stay in Southern California or Northern? i do no longer understand too a lot approximately Northern different than San Fransisco, Sacramento and Oakland..those are effective places to bypass to. As of SoCal...there is much to do there. Disneyworld, commonplace Studios, commonplace Citywalk, Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood excursions, Knotts berry farm, and all the california seashores...just to call some.

white rice and cocounut peas and plaintains
Blend: red pepper, green peper, garlic, onion, white viniger oil, cilantro - cook in pan - add a 1/2 of bouillon cube, alittle sour orange if you can find it. Add - one can of peas (with all the liquid, one can of coconut milk) let it boil down for a long while. Cook rice. Green plantains - slice (not in long strips) - fry in oil (1/2 way up the plaintain) - before it gets overly cooked take them out, place on paper town, squash them with something heavy, re-fry till crispy - salt them. Serve peas over rice

This is surprisingly good.

Summer Sandwiches:

Zucchini and yellow squash, sliced, cooked in a frying pan with olive oil and a splash of soy sauce

Fresh, sliced, tomatoes

Interesting sandwich bread (I like peasant bread)

Spread bread with mayo on one side and pesto on the other (or other interesting sauce)

Soft cheese, like Fontina or Mozzarella

Toast in toaster oven or regular oven until cheese is melted, somewhat

Serve with rice or potato salad or baked beans.

hot pot.It is really good.It is basically just a pot on one of those portable stove tops. You put it on the table.Put pot on top of stove and put chicken broth in there.when it boils, you put in what you want to eat like vegetables and meat.then you scoop it out and put it on your plate and dip it in soy sauce or whatever you like and eat it.Yum.I love hot pot,it tastes really good and is fun because each person can put in what they want to eat and scoop it out when it is cooked.Very Fun!
