It hurts more than a regular piercing. On a scale of one to ten, its a seven. My advice is to wait until after you go to the theme park. If it is still hurting you wont be able to enjoy the trip. And if you hit your piercing on a ride or something it will hurt alot more. I had mine done and when I took it out it left a hard bump for more than a year.

Just make sure that if you do have it done, go to a licensed piercer. Not walmart, claires, etc. Ask to see their license, make sure the instruments are sterile, and go with a surgical steel earring. Don't get a curved one, make sure its straight. ((If the piercer tells you a curved one is fine to start with, don't have it done. They dont know what they are talking about.))

It actually hurts way less than you are probably expecting it to. When I got mine done, I was holding my brothers hand as hard as I could so the pain wouldn't be as bad. But once they actually pierced it, I let go because it didn't hurt at all. The rides might hurt it if It's pushing on it or rubbing on it. Just make sure you're careful and keep it really clean.

I've had my cartilage done twice and it really doesn't hurt that bad. There will be an initial sting... but then it sort of goes numb. You'll do fine. Just remember to keep it clean. And remember that the cartilage really doesn't fully heal so you can't leave your your ear rings as it will close up fast.

You should be fine to go to the theme park....

the piercing will sting like a bee sting as you get it ,then will go away =you can go to the theme park and it won't hurt your ears=remember to ask for a slip of paper on how to keep the piercings clean =good luck
