im tottaly confused when it comes to religions. what do i do? how do i find one? i want something that is uplifiting but wont condem me to 'hell'. i've researched some but they all seem to condredict themselves. im sorry if i have offended someone which im sure i did. im just trying to find whats right for me. i wasn't raised in religos house until my mother got re-married now im haveing chritianinty shoved down my throat but i don't think it's right for me can anyone help me?

Remember, you don't NEED to belong to a religion...
study different spiritual paths until you find what feels genuine in you...
it may change throughout the years

hope makes a very good point indeed - do you think you need to have a religion?
there are many spiritual people who are not at all religious.
research into all the different types of beliefs - buddhism, paganism etc, or perhaps atheism.
if you have been happy as you are up to now, then continue that way.
your mother may want or be happy to take on christianity, but you do not need to.

To tell you the truth, it took me years...
I researched everyone I was interested in...
I think that is the only way you can know for sure...I DO NOT think people should push their religion on others...I NEVER HAVE...
ITS JUST WRONG...YOU need to find out if it is for you or NOT...I am sure you respect your family, but they need to let you do this on your own...Good Luck...

try becoming a unitarian. you can pick and choose what you want to believe and then write a song or do a dance about it...
in the unitarian church, there are only 4 commandments. the other 6 are suggestions.

There are allot of religions out there, i suggest u explore them and then make up your mind, but u don't HAVE to choose a religion.

why focus on a religion you are okay with rather than the religion that is the truth?
