If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it IS a duck.
Sounds to me like you're giving her what she wants, which is friends with benefits. Most likely you're not the only one. If you want something more, tell her. If she's up for it, good for you. If not, find someone that can fit the bill.

If you want to have some relationship growth, then move on bud! This girl obviously has some issues and if she introduces you as a friend... well I'd be insulted personally. Good luck, and find somebody who wants to be with you, not just have you for when it's convenient for them. What kind of relationship would that be anyway? Not a very good one.

A year and she won't refer to you as her bf? You need to speak up to her. Maybe she doesn't want a title because she is out doing things she shouldn't be doing if she has a "boyfriend" You should speak up for sure and move on without her if she can make that commitment. A year is along time to date.

Maybe thats exactly what you are to her anyway. And if it really bothers you I think you should express your dissatisfaction with the status quo and that you want to grow in your relationship with her. Set up some guidelines for yourself and what you're willing to accept and not accept in a 'relationship' and If she really digs you she'll understand and everything will be sweet, if not then leave her be.

She wants to keep her options open, doesn't want to fully commit, and like many men, she is afraid of any sort of commitment (women are every bit as afraid of commitment as men are, it just doesn't fit into the male-bashing mold) ... I'd put some distance here, and yes, start to date others. She either needs to commit or hit the road.

Whoa dude, spelling and grammer is horrible!! but, you should find out if something happened in her past she could be scared maybe she's been hurt and doesnt want that to happen again. Really talk to her and let her know how you feel. It could be that's all she wants is B-U-D-D-Y

Drop here dude, shes playing with you. If you drop her and she doesnt try to get you back, you made a good move although your pride might be shot. If she begs u back, tell her what you want, and that "friends" is a joke.

You need to tell her how you feel. Tell her you either want a relationship or nothing at all because you don't want to be just friends with benefits.

Are you also having sex together, if not, she is trying out the old way, to keep it for the final day. In that case you should respect her wishes.

If that were me, I would not be happy, for a few months that sh*t is alright but for a year. I'd be like listen, do you want me to be your boyfriend or not because I don't want to waste my time on someone who does not want to fully committ. Maybe you could find a nicer way to say it if you want. ;)
