Yup! There will be laser tvs hitting the market soon, and just like when plasmas emerged they will be very expensive. So just wait for this new technology and you will see a price drop.

I think the prices are pretty much where they are going to stay. I just bought a 32" Syntax Olivia, which is awesome, for only $494. It's got everything, except is only 720, not 1080p. There are two reasons why the prices won't drop much: 1 When Wal Mart got into selling plasmas/lcd, the price immediately dropped 45%, so there's the huge profit margins the other retail stores were getting, 2. they will be better with more options. So, eventually you'll be able to get a 1080p for $500, and all LCDs will have picture in picture, but I'm sure you'll never see a 32" tv for $150.

Prices have been dropping at a really fast rate of about 25% per year, or just over 2% a month. This has held up for the last several years, and I do not think that it will change this year either.

lease expenses are extreme partly using fact of extensive inflation interior the fee of residences in the process the modern years. extremely some landlords overpaid for their homes using fact of that inflation. maximum of them nevertheless owe extensive mortgages on those homes. and that they have no selection yet to value extreme rents. in the different case the banks will do away with their homes in foreclosure. If many renters won't be able to pay extreme lease expenses and that they the two flow in with their kin or finally end up homeless. Then the emptiness fee for apartment gadgets will improve a lot. and extremely some landlords won't longer be able to pay their mortgages. which will consequence in many foreclosure and revenues of those foreclosed homes at a lot decrease expenses. and then the hot landlords can be able to value a lot decrease rents. using fact their mortgages would be a lot smaller. This capacity of reducing rents could have been a lot quicker if the government wasn't interfering interior the financial gadget. however the government has decreased the expenses of interest a lot and is attempting to provide up the foreclosure via extremely some courses and bailouts. And it quite is slowing down the decrease in expenses. yet ultimately, lease expenses merely like abode expenses will come down a lot. the government can in trouble-free terms decelerate the decline in expenses. besides the shown fact that it won't be able to provide up this decline.

I Think the Prices Aren't bad Now......
I saw a 50" Vizio Plasma at Sam's Wholesale Club for $1350 about 3 years ago that definitely would of been around $6000 :-)

the prices will go down every year. but manufactures will always add newer features and technology to make their tvs more expensive. but prices will drop. just not as much as most would like to. the same model you are looking at might be like 200$ cheaper next year when they have a new model out. but that new model will have options that make you think that last years model is out dated.give it a few more years prices will be lower.
