It is not a slap in the face to me, but is truly one of the many things I do not understand. Last year I lost a dear friend to breast cancer. . .she was only 25 years old.. . .I still don't understand it. Her dad is a pastor and her entire family is wonderful. She was a wonderful person who never spoke an ill word.

My only guess is Cancer does not care who you are or how old you are.

We as humans look upon "blessings" as that which is VISIBLE but if you take a hard look at what you just SAID, the one who is 60 years old has lived alot of years already and beating cancer does not mean he will not have to go through another misery given by THIS life. The 5 year old has not had to endure this life's hardships and has been SPARED it's agonies. Evidently, the OLD person has not yet learned that BLESSINGS are not LIVING in this life but LIVING "eternally" with the Father in heaven. THAT is a TRUE "blessing" that puts us in a state where we no longer have to endure "this" world and it's many "flaws."

My mom had cancer, so did a neighbor both at the same time. Both were very strong Christains. Both were prayed for countless times, both had many Churches praying for them. My mom died at 48, 4 weeks before my wedding. The other man, God healed, completely, he had been covered in tumors. At first yeah, I was kinda up set. I found notes in mom's bible where she wrote, "God never said he would take me out of it, only that he would take me though it.". That was almost 10 years ago. The man, is doing great, a great Christian, who is a inspiration to all. My mom never got to see her grandchildren or even her only child get married. Am I bitter? Well over the past 10 years I have met countless people who knew my mom during this battle, so many have commented on how brave and how she trusted God to carry her through. On many occasison I have had the chance to tell this story, just as I am with you now. To the world, she just died, to so many others, God worked through her to reach so many more. I was greieved, but I can say now looking back, how God worked so many wonderful things through this tradigy of my family. For that I give God all the praise and honer he desreves.

No. We still must have faith even when we don't understand. God's ways are not our ways; it may have been that the purpose for that child's life was to touch someone else's life in a way that would affect them for the better.
If God does heal you of a deadly disease, then you are indeed blessed. But were you healed by the efforts of the medical community, or were you healed miraculously, in the examples of those whom the doctors could do nothing for them, then suddenly, overnight, the disease disappears? This has happened quite a few times, actually. There are many testimonies to this. These are the times that you know that only God could have healed you.

We can not always undrerstand what God does from my own experience three of my own children died form apneic seizures disorders they were born with microcephaly( small head size) and the first baby girl i had was born the same way and God supernaturally healed her she is 14 now and a totally normal child yes it hurts but God never loses at least they are in heaven and not enduring the hardships here and i do have another daughter who is normal and healthy and she 27,all things work out for the good to those that love the Lord.Everything has a purpose and i believe the Lord was seeing would I still serve him would I still Trust him it is called a Job experience and because Job held on God restored him Double ,his wife said curse God and die but he would not,he had 14 more children and believed God,so things dont always go the way we want them to but in the end we are better people, stronger and morals, values and character are developed and the fruits of the spirit are developed in our lives and our faith and trust in God are established.be blessed Lisa So my question is what are you going to stand for worldly materialistic things or God

You are like a child trying to question a world champion chess player's moves. While God is not insensitive to our earthly bodies , the thing that He is mostly concerned with is the life and welfare of your soul.

you think the coaching of turning the different cheek is our achilles heel? you do not understand Christ or His coaching. Christ taught that we could desire to continuously not be agressive and could repel it by love, we are to be as smart as foxes in spite of the shown fact that and the NT teaches we are to take care of ourselves. in case you incredibly need to confirm why do not you slap my face and verify out to take my wallet. additionally a burglar is one that breaks right into a house or premises to scouse borrow. i think of you have your criminals blended up, purchase a dictionary.

it can be taken that way but u believe that maybe the family that prayed and prayed didn't pray with faith and command the disease to leave the child's body in the name of Jesus
