You have to burn 3,500 calories more than you eat to lose one pound. 8 pounds in two months might be a little easier.

When i lost my first 8 pounds i counted ever calorie that went in my mouth. I didn't go over 1200. An easy way to do this is to eat Lean Cuisine and fruit cups. Also drink water or diet soda and exercise. I also ate spinach and broccolli vegtables are low in calories.

Step One: Push away from the keyboard! Get up and get out. Do anything - walk, jog, run. Whatever you do, just get moving. You don't have to radically alter your eating habits to lose weight, just become more active. Good Luck.

The biggest culprit is Sugar, eliminate Sugar and do light to moderate exercise and you should lose the 8lbs really quickly.
