i haven't talked to my ex in a week, and three nights ago she texted me saying "i miss you". she has a new bf, and when i asked about what happened with him she said "nothings happened hes just no you". two nights ago we were texting and she said i miss you so much babe. and then yesterday she ignores me all day until late at night when she's really drunk. she sends me a message on myspace saying YOUR MY SOULMATE I LOVE YOU I JUST NEED MY TIME AWAY I DONT KNOW WHY BUT I LOVE YOU YOUR MY OTHER HALF I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU. and then she called me like 10 times that night. i don't wanna get back with her, but do you guys think there's any truth to this?

Sure there is truth to it. You almost always miss an ex. Once you've been out of the relationship for a little bit you start to forget about the bad and romanticize the good. I'd tell you to stop communicating with her. Don't reply to her at all and remove her from your friends list.

well im sure that she has feelings for you, but to be honest i would just ignore all messages and phone calls from her, it seems to me that she doesn't deserve you anyways so why bother listening to what she has to say, when clearly she has another boyfriend. She seems like a waste of time, and since you dont want to get back with her, then just let it go, dont sweat it. She is probably just seeing if she can have you and the other guy.

Talk to her when she's sober and find out what she is thinking. You don't say why or who broke you two up, remember why you aren't together and make a rational decision whether you want to try again. If she's talking to you only when she's drinking she may just be getting nostalgic and may not really mean what she's saying.

I think maybe so. If she says she misses you. But it seems as if she's sort of playing a game. She only does it when she's in dire need, and if she's drunk.
She may really have feelings for you, but hides them.
Or not, and she's just another one of thise girls who are just annoying and drama queens.
Might as well just ignore her.

If she expresses the same things when she is sober than perhaps you should think about it. But it sounds like you don't want to get back with her anyway. It sounds like she playing games or being wishy-washy. Not only does she seem to be playing you, but think about the poor dope she's seeing. She's playing him too. That's not cool.
