I want it to be fun for everyone. We are having hamburgers and hotdogs, salad and dessert, but I'm stumped on activities. The picnic will be outside at a large park. Thank you.

Get you a karaoke setup and let anyone who wants to, sing...we do that on the Fourth every year. You can use a flatbed truck as a stage...most churches have speakers and microphones you can use...You can play soundtracks,,,get a wide variety...you can rent these in some places,,,if not,,,ask around,,,today nearly everyone who sings in church will have some....ask for permission from the park officials,,but most will say yes....

For the toddlers bring five large boxes and let them paint it or color it like a train or a rocket ship. tug of war egg toss face painting crafts. waffle ball badminton. The kids have the most fun just running around on a swing set.

Try a scavenger hunt......we did that fot the youth group once.
It went over very big.
One time, my old church did a "Fear Factor" style competition. It had everything.....bug-eating, wild stunts....it was awesome. Nobody puked and nobody got hurt.
