I honestly dont know what is about but I have do know that I have bad debt.
If anybody can help me please.
Thankyou

County courts don't send people out with warrants for questioning. I would telephone the police if I were you and find out what it is all about. You cannot be put in prison for fourteen days without the matter going before a court in the first place. Bad debt is usually a civil matter unless it is from the council tax and if it is from them then the matter would be dealt with in a legal and proper manner, not sending someone out to threaten you. Telephone the council and the police and find out whats happening, thats if you have nothing at all beside bad debts to hide.

UK Courts do have a warrant for questioning and it is delivered by hand from the county court baliff.

The warrant is usually a last attempt following a series of non appearance.or previous orders being ignored The questioning is usually to determine income and can be ordered by a creditor or likes (it will be from magistrates court if likely to be from CSA)

Failure to respond to the order is a contempt of court and imprisonable for 14 to 28 days after which the original order to attend court still stands

County Court? This sounds like an Oral Examination to discover your means for a payment of debt.
Two questions

1. Do you owe money?
2.Is it actually youthey are looking for or has someone got the right name but the wrong person.

Go and see the Court and find out what it is about, You will need the reference number, then go and tlak to the Plaintiff( the fella wot ses you owe da lolly to). Unless you can sort this
out your credit rating will be poor

They don't get warrants when they want to question and it certainly wouldn't be anyone from the county court. And they wouldn't get an arrest warrant either if they couldn't find you (how would they find you to serve it?). Someone is taking the mickey.

county courts do not issue warrants for questioning the only type of warrants issued are one relating to property ie distress warrnts where the bailiffs attend and remove goods and chattels and even then they have to be accompanied by the police. the police only attend in case a breach of the peace occurs not to enforce the warrant.
The police do not require warrants to question people only to arrest them.
Finally nobody can be committed to prison generally unless they have appeared in court. YOU CANNOT GO TO PRISON FOR DEBT ANYMORE ONLY COUNCIL TAX.

most often, what ur describing is a criminal subpoena...u say at first theres a warrant, then you say if they dont find ya soon theres gonna be a warrant and put in prison for 14 days, get ur story straight......they dont just throw out random #'s {{14 days}} when they are threatening a warrant....

You best bet is to go to the police station and find out what they want. . .showing up with an attorney would be ideal, but it is not necessary. Warrants do not go away, so it is in your best interest to have it taken care of ASAP.
