Yes, a wicked sinner, killer, child molester, the worst filth a person could be if they repent truly from their heart and seek forgiveness from God and ask Jesus to come into their heart they will not only be forgiven, but saved, and receive a place in heaven. A religious person if they renounce God and the holy spirit upon death it would result in hell because chances are they were never sincere about being saved and receiving God!
