It's the Americans you Decided it's a good thing to help them out like the muslim enjoy their country and deal with their own problems..we did not need anyone to change them and 'liberate' them, they are fine they way they were.

Although you, like most uninformed people, want to blame the US led invasion of Iraq on every social problem you are facing where ever you are, that simply doesn't hold water. The Canadian Government has set it's allowance and criteria for immigration or asylum, not the US Government. Open dialog with YOUR officials and let THEM know how you feel. You'll be hard pressed to find a sympathetic US Citizen to your immigration woes. The US, I'm sure, has accepted more immigrants and political refugees than probably any other country on the planet, and that's not counting the invasion of illegal aliens.

How many of those Arab-Canadians are Muslims who express fealty with the Salafist Jihadists who carry out acts of terrorism in the name of that religion? I know in the States that over 80% of Arab-Americans are Christians. They came here to escape the oppresive governments in their native lands.
I haven't read any major thrust against the French culture which prevails in Montreal from the thousands of Iraqi emigres that live there. Haven't read one story about demonstrations on Yung Street in Toronto calling for mass actions against an oppressive provincial government.
So, I see little chance of a duplication of what happened in France. Neither the U.S. or Canada look upon the Muslim emigres as "children of the colonies" the way that European countries do. We have the melting pot. You have the mosaic. It seems to work on both sides of the border.
