Texas Child Support Cases?

If you are a single parent, and if you file for child support and all attempts fail in locating him. Such as: you don't have his SS, you are unsure of where he stays b/c everytime they send citations to an address it always gets a return of address and is sent back. He does not receive public aid, and has never been to jail. You don't know where he works or his phone number. Do they shut this case down? Or do they keep it open for future updates? Also, how long does every case worker have to work on each and every case? Is there a time limit? 3 months? 2 months, 2 weeks?

Sadly, it's my belief that some "case workers" simply put a case such as this on a "back burner."

My girlfriends ex is over $40K deliquent in child support. There are so many ways dead-beat parents can avoid the issue that sometimes considering a professional collection agency, that takes a bit of their share for services rendered, is better than nothing.

In my case...I just watch as the dead-beat dads son grows up knowing his own father didn't really care! Pretty sad!

They will find you, the case will NEVER close. It will be there until the day you die. When and if your child turns 18 you will still be liable and when they find you, AND THEY WILL, they will garnish your wages and take your tax returns. You will run for the rest of your life and they will always be right on your tail. (I am work in the legal field in Louisiana - - the laws here are very similar to Texas, so be assured that what I have told you is accurate in your state also!)

ALSO..IT IS NOT A WOMAN'S DUTY TO BE ON BIRTH CONTROL, some women cannot take birth control, so keep your dick in your pants!

You need to be a man and face the consequences of your actions. I feel sorry for your child that will have to grow up without a father figure, you are a sad excuse for a human being. That child is the one who will suffer regardless of if you pay or not, all that child will know is that it had a father that ran and ran to get away and BLAMED mommy for everything. You said, that it is the fault of both sides and you are right, but the thing is that you are not taking responsibility for your fault, you just want to sit back and blame the girl you stuck your dick in.

YOU made a mistake. Now own up to it and support your child. You can run for the rest of your life or either pay for your mistake for the next 18 years...however, something tells me you would prefer to run for the rest of your life from your obligation.
