Fuel pump. Fuel system will not turn on the engine light and the only fuel filter is on the end of the pump in the tank.

A possibility that hasn't been mentioned is the evaporative cannister may be full of gas causing a vacuum in your gas tank. This can build up as you drive then dissipate when the engine is off. I had a friend who had this problem. Dumped almost a quart of gas out of his cannister. Comes from pumping more gas in after the pump shuts off.

It could be the fuel pump. I would take it to your local dealership and let them check it out before it leaves you stranded.

you might want to change all the filters and and including an oil change and try to rugular gas or supreme from one kind of gas station like exxon or getty any name brand and tell your technichion to clean the gas tank and fuel filter

.Replace the fuel filter first. If it still does it, replace the pump. It's probably going to be the pump.

Might want to try a coolant sensor, they are a cheap start.
