Consuls approve the visas at the embassies. You must study a lot about international relations, diplomacy, government, law and psychology in order to become a consul.

Consul general is appointed by the current government of each country. If you want to be one, study Law or Political Science and be active in the politics to have recommendations from the current president of your country. God bless you!
