What's more important to guys?

My friend and I are quite different, and have different views on this... She thinks males prefer a skinny body, without worrying about the face, and I think guys prefer a pretty face over a good body. ALSO she thinks they think a good figure is more important, whereas I think they think a good, kind personality is. Who do you agree with and why? =)

Fortunately, there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all type of girl that satisfies every guy. Guys are just like girls in that we all come in all different shapes and sizes...that is because we all have such a wide variety of preferences that it really is true that there is someone out there for everyone!

And let's not forget about personality. You gotta be nice...it takes more than looks to win a guy's heart.

I would have to agree with you there. If I was looking for a girl a perfect body is not #1. The face is important I want to be able to look into her eyes, not stare at her assets. And a good personally is definitely more important then a good figure, I could go for a girl without good looks if she is good enough on the inside, but not the other way around. Even better is to have both :D

Why is the stuff on the inside important? Well that is rather simple, I want a good relationship and for that to work its more important to be able to have trust, friendship, communication, to laugh together etc and this is achieved with the right partner based on what she has on the inside, like how she thinks and her views on things.

Well personality is probably the most important, and guys probably (not a guy so can't be sure :p) prefer a pretty face.

Can i just point out it isn't fair to say men don't prefer skinny girls as some us us are naturally skinny how ever much we eat, and we are just as susceptible to feel more ugly when other girls point out that men prefer "curvier girls". It's not our fault so i wish people would stop putting down us naturally slim woman!!!! We are just as beautiful as bigger woman

I'm a guy, and here's what I look for in a girl:

1. A pretty face (75% of first impression, 10% of overall)
2. A nice a** (15% of first impression, 10% of overall)
3. Nice rest of body (5% of first impression, 5% of overall)
4. A great personality (5% of first impression, 75% of overall)

Notice there are two categories: first impression (short run) and overall (long run).

Obviously, this is just an approximation I came up with. Personality includes: non-smoker, caring, honest, fun-loving, intelligent, and down-to-earth

On a physical level I am attracted to a girl with a body that is in proportion, takes care of herself, and has a pleasant face. Of course, one can help out the other, i.e. a beautiful face can make a girl with a less than ideal body appear more attractive.

I've always considered it as a "total package" sort of thing. I could get a car that has a banging stereo, but can't go over 40mph, but where would that get me? If I had to err on either side, I'd go with a pretty face. As for skinny, I'd take a girl with a little more weight than a boney girl.

Long term I want the personality. Looks will go with time and you have to like the person you're with. Having said that, lets be realistic...looks ARE important as there has to be an attraction.
