Are you trolling the boards today or is this a real question? I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. The name "Lolita" has entered pop culture to describe a sexually precocious young girl. Take the shirt away, you don't have to get graphic but tell her its inappropriate, and sends the wrong message. How old is your daughter anyway?

Yes. I would be concerned. Think AMY FISHER!! The Long Island Lolita. Is that what you want people to look at your daughter and think?? And you should say to her only wear shirts with a word or phrase on it if you know what that phrase means. Curiously how old is your daughter you didn't mention her age?

throw it away, how old is she, where did she get the shirt? Does she know what it means? these are questions that need answers before anyone can help, but don't feel badly i did not know what it meant either but i would not have bought it, i did know it was not good because of the Amy fisher thing, and i don't think a child should wear anything with writing on the butt

If you don't know what it means does your daughter? Does she know what she's advertising herself as? I think other people have sufficiently answered what Lolita means but the question is whether you want your daughter sending those messages to anyone who's staring at her butt and chest. Me personally, i'd burn said articles of clothing and have a long talk with my daughter about what messages she's sending across, and more importantly, why she feels she needs to send them.

I think perhaps your daughter is trying to get some attention .. any sort of attention.
I think you should sit her down and have a conversation about how clothes reflect on a person, how fair / unfair peoples conclusions can be, ask her what message she hopes to convey with her clothing and show her a more conservative way to be original and shocking.
She will eventually figure this out, but as a good parent you owe it to her to talk to her about it. Good luck!
Oh and forbiding these types of clothing, will just make them all that more inticing!!!!!
