actually, its because of the poor scientific reasoning they use to describe the global warming. Take for instance they say that it is due to carbon emission from humans, which they say has been a factor since the late 1940s, however the 4 of the hottest years on record are pre 1940, something like 1934, 1936, 1938 and 1939.

Also, there is no correlation to the increase of C02 causing an increase in temperature, but there is a correlation between the increase in temperature causing an increase in C02.

Go figure all that Al Gore is teaching us is WRONG!

Probably for the same reason no one likes bad news.
My brother is a marine biologist (researcher), I've been aware because of him for at least 20 years.
He studied the codfish in Newfoundland 20 years ago and said that the fishermen there would not accept the fact of over fishing. They kept fishing saying it was a different type of cod they were catching - smaller. WRONG!
The industry is practically dead, Newfoundlander's have moved or many (not all, don't want to offend anyone) are on social assistance. Why? They did not heed the warnings and now are suffering. To mention nothing of other fishermen coming into our waters with virtually no consequences.
Another brother is an Environmental Engineer making the big bucks in the oil fields of Alberta. He complains about lack of support all the time. Oil companies want him to fudge the data all the time, which, thank God he refuses to do. In the end he is respected but the data he collects is not necessarily passes on to me or you.
He has done studies on the numbers of certain wildlife; they are failing due to human encumbrance and pollution.
This is not a joke and you will always find a study to dispute, it's like an atheist saying there is no God.

Yes, good catch! Mann likes to keep his data and methods secret for a reason. All he needs to do is find another true believer and say his work as 'peered viewed'.

It's time for science to keep Mann's and Hansen's feet to the fire. All too often they put out information that is far from being honest or objective.

Clearly Hansen truncated the raw data so the data he showed would lead the reader to the conclusion he wanted others to believe.

Of course it was warmer back in the 1930's. What caused the dust bowl? Or maybe believers think this was just a Republican conspiracy?

The late 18 century and early 19th century were also warmer than current times, long before SUV's.

The Earth goes through natural cycles of warming and cooling, and for any reason,, the Sun is more responsible for climate change than man could be.

The data does not keep changing. There was a bit of a glitch in the US average temperature data and they incorporated it. It has no effect on the average global temperature record linked above.
