OK, the ice cube thing? Is normal. Certain people crave interesting things. Some people even crave dirt, but that doesn't meant that they have a mental problem. It just means, for some reason. They crave whatever there body craves. I even crave blood sometimes. Doesn't mean I'm crazy. See?
OK, now the eating thing? I do the exact same thing, and let me tell you. I get bored a lot, which mean I eat a lot. Plus, I'm not what you call a pretty beauty Queen who;s skinny or anything. So, advice? When your bored and you want to eat? Suck on something. Like the ice cubes are a good idea since they have no calories. But if you to suck on ice cubes? What I use to do, when I was nine, was I'd put like flavor in the ice cubes, and then wait till they froze, and then suck on them. You can use Cool aid, or..just sugar and water. Or any type of thing that mixes with water. It helps when your craving something. Also, what I do. Is make yourself like a special drink instead of eating something. I make hot chocolate with a little bit more sugar, and put a little milk in it. And then some wipp cream on top? Oh yeah. Or make some tea? Something like that. If you don't want a hot drink, then try like a smoothie or something like that. Or even just Chocolate milk. Or milk? Well..good luck. I hope I helped.

I think you're problem is that you are just an oral person. So am I. I like to put things in my mouth, that's how I've always been. I have a daughter the same way. That's why I smoked when I was young and ate hard candy at work all the time. Try replacing the need with gum. Or maybe try munching on plain popcorn. That's what I do at night, that or flavored rice cakes. That's how I stay thin and still eat alot. It fills you up but it's hardly any calories. I don't ever eat a big meal for supper. Lunch is my big meal. And as for the ice, that's a great munchie to feed your need to be oral. And lastly, maybe get into making crafts. That will help with the boredom. Good luck. You're not alone.

1) When you want to get rid of the boring feeling, there are a lot of things you can do other than eating. You can try doing some exercises; listening to soft music; or even go on-line to chat with your friends. I do believe that these are the very good ways of helping you to lose weight.
2) As to your craving of eating ice cube. If you are living in a hot region, that's understandable and nothing's wrong with it. I do believe that this is a very good way of cooling your body down, as long as the ice cubes are made with pure fresh water.

The solution is.. well there's 2 actually, ok first one: don't get bored.. you can answers people's questions on yahoo answers, you can go on all sorts of websites and games when you are bored. I eat all the time when I'm bored too. You're not alone. The other solution is: If you don't want to spend all day on the computer and you're still bored when your hungry eat ice cubes like you said you like to eat them. They aren't junk food so they won't hurt you if you watching your weight. Or, if you get sick of flavorless ice cubes try freezie pops that's what I eat when I'm bored. Or if you want a snack you can eat rice krispie treats or 100 calorie packs they are really good snacking food that won't put on pounds. (unless you eat them all day)

The craving ice thing is called pica. It is usually an indicator of anemia and you should talk to your doctor to have blood tests done. A simple iron supplement may be all you need to get everything back in balance. As for eating when you're bored....let me know if you find out how to fix that! The best I can tell you is to do your darndest to not get bored! Good luck on your health improvement journey! I'm sure you'll do great!

Make a list of alternate things to do (read, go for a walk, etc). The next time you feel the urge to eat, consult the list. Mindful eating takes effort, but it gets easier with time/practice.
