U better go to the bridal shower, unless u are not a part of the wedding party then send your gift with your mom and explain to your aunt what happened and do it either in person or on the phone but buy a nice gift and give it to her yourself and make sure she understands why u cant be there.

I would go to the football game.
(Well... actually.. isn't it preseason? If its just preseason I wouldn't go... but if its a real game, I'd be at the game!)
You can send a note of regret along with a monster gift to make up for it. These showers are for presents anyway... and with everyone else there doting her with attention, you won't even be missed. And unless you are super close with your aunt, like you guys go out and chat on the phone and you go to her with problems, I wouldn't care... and if you were super close, then she would understand because she'd know just how much you love football.
I'm a girl and I think that.
Just send her an RSVP of no and say sorry you already have plans that day. If you've already said yes, then say that you completely forgot you told a friend you'd go to this game and you guys spent $$$$ on money on the tickets already so you have to go.
Send a monster card and a monster gift. Done.
If you don't go to the game you have no self respect.
Just kidding.

Are you close to your aunt? Is your mom or someone else in your family throwing the shower? Is this the only shower she'll be having before the wedding? Are you in the wedding party? If so, you should probably go. Otherwise, feel free to politely decline and make up for it by being extra helpful pre-wedding and getting a nice gift for her.

Eh that sucks for you. Neither one will ever happen again (well hopefully not in your aunts case). The football game would most deffinatly be funner, but your aunt may be hurt if you dont show. Are you close with your aunt? if not go to the game and bring her the gift after the game. If you are close with her it may be wise to avoid hurting her feelings and attent the shower. gl

that's a really tough decision I would say do what you want. Or maybe do both, go late to the game after making a quick stop at the aunt's shower or go to the game and leave at halftime so you can appear at your aunt's shower. Whatever you do, just be happy with your decision!

The bridal shower of course. Family comes first.

Well, I'd go to the bridal shower, cuz that only happens once! Or go to one for a little while, and then make it to the other! Good luck and congrats to your aunt!

Go to the game. You're not missing the actual wedding and who knows the way people get divorced you could always make her next bridal shower.

TBO the football game and go to your Aunt's shower. I would be pissed if I found out someone went to a football game and not my shower.
