Music is by it's basic element "Timing" like 4/4 or 6/8 --- this creates the rythem ... Since God is timeless ... the alpha & omega ... spanning the universe ... How does God listen to music if he doesn't have time, thus lacking rythem?

Who said that God has no time to listen to music. He enjoys our of songs or Praises and Worship sung to Him. Why would he want to listen to worldly songs that bring Him no glory. You can be he is listening to these types of songs and probally shaking his head in disgust hearing some of the words written. God is the creator of music so He has more knowledge than anyone else has as far as rythem goes. No lack there!

God has time to do what he pleases he is beyond time. God created rhythm and it is written that David sang psalms to God. It is also written that we should enter his gate with praise and his courts with thanksgiving. Also it is written let everything that has breathe praise the Lord. There are many scriptures that suggest that God hears and appreciates music. It is written that he inhabits the praise of his people. Hope this helps. Be Blessed!!

God created everything, and so is music. He created good music though, the one that elevates your soul to the throne of God not the kind of music that is so rampant today which is basically just "NOISE." And He listens. He has time because He is omnipotent(all-powerful), omniscient(all-knowing), omnipresent(all-present). Personally, i'm glad i'm serving a God like that who deserves to hear my praises to Him thru music.

God told people to worship Him w/ music & instruments. It's in the old testament. David used to dance before the Lord and I am sure he was accompanied by music. God is God = you are forgetting that very important piece. God made rythm, God made time, God made man capable of making music for His pleasure. Musical talent is a gift and one that God enjoys listening to, I am sure. If God didn't have timing or ryhthm then he couldn't give that talent to us. We are made in His image. God can rock with the best of em!

Music was created by man, it is really nothing more than organized noise and some of it is sweet on the ears, human ears, that is.

There is a big difference between timing and timeless. Two entirely different words.

well, basically God created all things, so music is included. and it is from the bible that God always hear the praises we sing to him ,and He appreciates it much as we do. He's God, he always have time. music is one way of worshipping and praising God. =)

*God hears the rythm in our souls, and rarely closes His ear to the music of our hearts.*
