My boyfriend and I are going to Gatlinburg in 6 days. The last time I was down there they did the old time pictures in photoshop (what a rip off). Does anyone know of an old time picture shop that uses the authentic cameras and not photoshop to tweak the colors?

The "authentic" colors are caused by age, so you would have to have the picture taken with B&W film, process the print with obsolete materials, then put it in a drawer and wait about 75 - 100 years.

I'd say Photoshop is probably the way to go.

ha ha me and my best friend got ours their too when we went there for a vacation! We went to... ugh what is called... idk but it was downtown around bubba gump's and all that. It was two down from burger king tho.. and next door to a knife store with all of thos B-B gun things. Our photographer didn't use photo shop... i'm not completely positive tho he had a mac on a wide screen and he just stuck in his SD card and loaded the pictures. He had some type of software just not photoshop you can get it in color or that antique color your choice. He's nice too, we had a good time doing that! and the prices are good too! Also go horseback riding at the sugarland place super fun! And DONT hike up rainbow falls it's a killer! it's all up hill for 3 miles!!!!

I got mine done in Gatlinburg too!!! However, I didn't see one there that was ''Original''. Good Luck. Those are so fun to do, even if you don't find an authentic one, you'll still have a good time doing it!!!
