Ok, love the summer sun, but I'm getting tired of the water. It's like if you don't drink alot of water, you face dehydration, dizziness, headaches, heat exhaustion, etc. But drinking water is also making me sick. It makes my stomach hurt. I'm not sure if it's because the amount makes me full, or if it's the nasty bacteria found in water in general or what. But anyway, I've found that Crystal light makes it easier to drink sometimes. But for hydration/health purposes, does that still count as water. It is sugar free and low in calories, though I'm not worried about that part. is it the healthiest thing in the long term? And if not, what are other alternatives?

BTW I'm usually active and in the heat alot. I can drink water when I'm out doing things, but sometimes when I get tired it's harder.

Actually it's when I'm not in the heat or active that I drink it.

it isn't bad for you, especially compared to soda, but there is still the sugar in the Crystal Light

I would have said "Yes" about 2 weeks ago, but when I saw a nutritionist, she told me to stay away from artificial sweeteners. It seems that there may be a link between these and weight gain.
I spoke to a pharmacist later and she said the same thing. So - think about it and make your own decision.

BTW - some filtered ice water with lemon, lime, and/or orange slices is very tasty.

On another note: If you are getting ill after drinking a lot of water or when you are very exhausted, watch that you don't drink TOO much as well as too little. Your electrolytes might be going out of balance.

Drink once you're thirsty. it is not suitable what it somewhat is. The water ingesting craze has replace into an obsession. no one is walking around dehydrated. i haven't seen everybody shed extra pounds by using ingesting undeniable water the two.

no...Crystal light contains calories from the maltodextrin which is a glucose polymer. it's just a longer chained molecule of the sugar dextrose

it's only easier to drink cuz it has flavor

it's hard to just gulp down water cuz it's not very appealing.

but i don't understand, becuase if you work out in the heat and you're all sweaty, you should slurp down water till the last drop.

I think water is the healthiest thing, but if you want to treat yourself to that sometimes...go ahead!
