I am allergic to: dust mite, all kind of dust, feathers, fur of cats, dogs and sheep, demodex mite, fish food (dried), fescue (have never seen it in my life), goose-foot, timothy-grass, couch-grass, wormwood, Indian corn and hogweed.
We yet didn't do bacterial and fungi tests, but it's already seems like to everything! How can one survive this? It is not possible to take that many precautions!

I'm allergic to all kinds of airborne things as well as some metals. I take Allergen-D which helps alot during spring, dry summers and fall. I live in a rural area, lots of wind and tons of dust. It can be miserable. I have no idea what precautions I could take other than living in a bubble.
Allergen helps so much and I discovered it through a pharmacist, it works for 8 hrs at a time, it really does, for me at least. Without it I am stuffed up to the point that it is hard to breath and have chronic congestion.
Thank the Lord for rain, snow and 5 months of winter, ha, ha.

Use hypo-allergenic products (such as pillows, bedsheets, ect.) and use airfilters.

Try taking local honey, if you are not allergic to the plants that are pollinated by them. It is not a proven theory but only you will know if it works.

I am allergic to pollen and dust, although I have not taken the shots to confirm it. I have tried nasal sprays and Claritin to stop my stuffy noses and other symptoms and they work a little. But as you get older the allergies should be less severe.

If you live in the countryside for a long time, you might be able to adapt to the envirnoment and your allergies may subside. But I, myself, will just wait until hopefully my allergies don't affect me much longer.

Your doctor should tell you what you can do.. But I am allergic to most of the things you described. I currently see an allergy specialist and receive an allergy shot weekly. I am also taking singulair for my allergies also. But unfortunatly you will have to live with it. Get a air purifier, this will help with some of the allergies. They also have things like bed and mattress covers and also pillow covers that keep out the dust mites.

Good Luck to you.

Everybody is allergic to something. If your allergies are severe they will give you allergy shots to build up your immune system. Most people take a Claritan a day, I live with mine until I can't stand it. Air conditioning helps until the filter needs to be changed, change your vaccum filter more often, use an air purifer. Vaccum your bed, use hypo-allergenic covers on mattress and pillows, get rid of carpeting. It's difficult but you mange to live with it. Don't get scared, you survived this long.

Pollen allergies plague thousands of people yearly, the best defense is avoidance.Using air purifiers in the home and staying indoors in air conditioning helps relieve some of the symptoms.Always check your weather forecast,on the weather channel website,to see the pollen counts in your area, avoid spending large amounts of time outdoors on severe pollen count days.
An anti-histamine helps ease symptoms and you need to discuss which one is right for you with a M.D trained in allergy and immunology.such as an allergist.Get a referral from your general doctors office.

Alternative medicine also offers a great deal of relief, homeopathic preparations matched to your specific pollen allergies, come in nose sprays, drops and tablets you put under your tongue, unlike drugs they are side-effect tree, and worth a trial to see if they improve your situation.

I can breathe company makes nice pollen masks you can wear with charcoal filters on severe days.

With allergies you may also want to learn what specifically they are through a battery of allergy tests, such as the skin prick test.

>>>>>>>WARNING<<<<<<<<
Many people claim that local honey is a help for allergies, but there are no scientific studies to back up that claim.furthermore, people allergic to RAGWEED,must avoid chamomile and honey pollenated with it. Ask a physician first as caution while using honey.Honey should never be given to infants, and the high sugar content is a downer to the immune system.
Honey therapy could be safe or dangerous for you,and some people have had severe reactions.I tried bee pollen once as a folk remedy for allergies and ended up having a severe reaction. It is best to speak with a doctor before treating yourself.

Local honey is not always a good idea. Some people are allergic to it too. You probably need allergy desensitation shots. They really help, but it may be two years or more before you experience relief.

Start taking LOCAL HONEY immediately! All these irritations will go away after awhile. Your body will work with the honey to develop immunities to all this stuff. If its in the air around you, its in the honey. Slowly, the irritants will get absorbed into your blood and become a part of your immune system. This has been proven may times. It really works. Please give it a try before you go for pills or shots. Those things will make your body dependent and you will never be free of the allergies. They also have harmful side effects. You only have one body. Take care of it naturally and it will treat you nice.

Go to your doctor again and let him decide how to help. There are shots available for specific allergies.

Me too. I just take antihistamines and I'm fine.

I still have a cat, too.

Don't stress out... it can make allergies worse. And they've not killed you yet, have they?

All the best.
