Are these people really that stupid? It reminds me of the video during the invasion with the Iraqi general or what ever he was denying that the US was in Bagdad. When there were tanks all over the place. Just because we do not want to admit it is true does not make it not true.

Conspiracy theories are all around us. I believe that is purely paranoia. Sadly, there are those that not only believe this crap, but they are able to convince others what they are spewing is gospel.

On another note, I actually spent a lot of time with Al Sahaf, Baghdad Bob's neice while I was in Iraq. She was a lot more truthful AND a lot more fun. LOL

I have researched this topic quite a bit over the last 5 years and have found some pretty shocking evidence which COULD indicate that 9/11 was staged. Just a couple of things that have caught my attention are:

A person on flight 93 calls his mom and leaves a message on her answering machine letting her know that he was on a hijacked plane. He made a total of three calls that were all recorded. On all 3 messages he says, "Hi mom, this is Jim Brown." How many of you reading this call your mom and leave a message with your first and last name?

A company by the name of Controlled Demolition Incorporated, (CDI) was in New York city ion the month of August to implode a military water suppy located 5 miles from the World Trade Center. At the same time that they were in New York, employees of WTC have reported that up to the time of the "attacks" several floors of the WTC were being shut down at the same time for "repairs". No one was allowed on these floors when these repairs were taking place. The water tower the CDI imploded came down, but nothing has been done with it since. If you will watch a playback on youtube of a building that CDI has imploded, you will see small explosions being set off several floors below the area that is actually falling. Then watch the WTC come down and you will see these same explosions. They are identical to each other. How many building that high come straight down when they fall? That is why CDI is so successful. They make the building fall straight down, as this cannot be done naturally. Watch WTC fall. Both buildings come straight down, just as if they were being imploded. Buildings don't do that naturally.

Finally, look at the hole that got knocked down at the Pentagon. The hole is 66 feet across. The plane that went into the Pentagon was a Boeing 757. The wingspan for a Boeing 757 is 154 feet across. Where did the rest of the plane go?? And where is the debris? The Pentagon tried to explain that for the first time in aviation history, a plane that crashed into a building was completely consumed by the fire and left no debris. Impossible. And how could a plane weighing nearly 100 tons and travelling at a minimum speed of 250 miles an hour only damage the outside of the Pentagon? It doesn't make sense.

These are only a few things that have caught my attention. There are hundreds of other things that just don't add up that make me believe there is more to the story than what the Government is telling.

I wouldnt go as far as to say it was staged, but there is evidence that the gov't was likely aware of it before hand.

Also people who believe in a transparent gov't tend to think something is being hidden when info is kept from the people. Cheney is the opposite wanting a transparent populous and a hidden gov't--scary policy if you think it should be the other way around. The Pentagon tapes have still yet to be shown-why?

Personally, I think anyone who has no questions about 9/11 cannot claim to be intelligent either-part of intelligence is to want questions answered, not to blindly listen to what the leaders say happened. Show us, dont tell us.

Edit::

I said it the day of and I'll say it again. It seems incredibly convient that the plane that hit the Pentagon just happened to hit the only portion that had been renuvated to be strong enough to take it?

When the basic layout of the Pentagon is public record, as was the basic info on the construction, why did terrorist who supposedly thought this out beforehand not know that the best side to hit was exactly opposite where they hit? They could have easily destroyed over half the building and more importantly, they could have taken out intelligence departments including the ones involved against them. ALL of this is public record and they should have known it---that is suspicious, but we cant see the tapes, so we know nothing about it.

Because people who disbelieve everything the government tells them, who think that everything is a conspiracy, and think that the government is out to "get" them will go to great lengths to portray themselves as "intelligent". They waste all their time cooking up grand conspiracies, because the reality and the truth are either too scary for them or because they don't make a convenient enough case against a president they don't like. If they can make out everything to somehow be Bush's fault, it validates them AND their tinfoil hats. The people who believe this sort of rubbish are the same gullible types who visualize Bush cackling in his office (in a sinister-looking White House framed by lightning and thunder, and ominous music), pressing a button that activates a space laser that causes Atlantic hurricanes with the exclusive purpose of flooding the homes of black people. It's positively comical that they cook this stuff up and actually take it SERIOUSLY. They're probably the same people who think that as soon as the last US soldier steps off Iraqi soil, the sun will come out, the birds will start chirping, and sudden and inexplicable peace will settle on the land within seconds.

Reality's a scary, scary thing if you're a tinfoil-hat-wearer.

Intelligent people always ask questions. I find it hard to believe the theories but at the same time, some of them raised some points that do make you wonder. Why do you think the JFK assassination has been dissected every which way and then some? The old saying that are always 2 sides to a story may apply here and for the record, calling inquisitive people with unanswered questions stupid DOESN'T make you any smarter either.

People like conspiracy theories, because usually they are more entertaining than the truth.

There are also a load of people out there who have such a warped personal hatred for George Bush that they just want to pin everything and anything on him, plausible or not.

Finally we are now bringing up a generation of young people (a generalisation here) who believe everything they see or read on the internet.

You only have to read the questions on here to see that because the proof of the argument is always a website....surely people wouldnt make things up on the net would they????

Im in the military and up until Monday, I believed that 9-11 wasnt planned or staged. I watched Zeitgeist Movie and decided it most likely was. How did Building 7 come down when it wasnt hit nor was it close to the twin towers? You tell me how Building 7 was just a coincidence that it was being "demolished" with people in it at the same time the WTC was being hit by the planes...

Well, if he "clams" to be intelligent it doesn't seem to much of a stretch to "clam" to believe that the twin towers falling on 9/11/01 were on a movie stage rather than a real life stage of Manhattan NY. Good luck in dealing with the "clams" of this "person".

Those who state that it was staged don't necessarily believe what they are asking. It makes a strong political statement, that is unfortunately about all.
Also, there are the insane "government conspirators" who still believe the landing on the moon was done in a studio. lol

Jerry from Conspiracy theory wasn't stupid either, just a short in the wiring somewhere that makes them believe all kinds of ridiculous crap. Yeah. I miss Baghdad Bob too, he was the funniest guy ever! Bob: We are crushing the infidels and the Yankees are dying by the thousands at the hands of our brave Iraqi troops, they are no where near the city!.....This as a US tank rolls by in the background.....Hilarious stuff.
