how come in every "miracle healing" it's always something that the human body can do on it's own(yes the immune system is capable of fighting and beating cancer even HIV in some rare cases )and never something impossible for it like growing a hand back

i find it amusing you all claim he can cure people yet when it comes to matter where the body can't heal itself he chooses not to

I like how people explain that god healed amputee's in the bible.. The book was written by MORTAL men. Here how about I go write up a book with a bunch of bull crap in it... I'll bury it in some dirt and then in oohhhhh 100 years someone can find it and call it the writings of a "god".

To the person two answers down on the second page.. I forgot your name. If we were made to be vegetarians then why is it that we were made canines to tear meat? Why are our eyes spaced on the front of our heads like predators instead of on the sides like an animal that eats vegetation?
And as for your 'godly dietary laws" My niece was 2 when she was diagnosed with diabetes I suppose that was her fault for eating all that garbage and having a horrible dietary lifestyle the two years she was on this planet.

God heals amputees. Just because you don't believe God does, don't take the healing away from those who do receive Gods healing in this.

God has grown hands back, etc. And today, we are seeing bionic limbs. God is giving us medical miracles too.

In scripture, God has healed a withered hand. Also, there are testimonies today that I have read where God healed a withered limb. I don't have the info or I would give it to you. Do a web site search. And also in the bible, a person didn't have eyes. Jesus made clay & put it in the eye sockets & did a creative miracle where the person could see. God created everything by the faith of God & by the spoken Word of God. So? you need both. Then also the person needs to have faith to receive the healing. By acting in faith & verbally claiming the healing in faith (by speaking Gods written promises or repeating the word from heaven that is personal). Believing in ones heart that God is willing to heal.

A recent healing, a person who had tumers had people pray for her. She fell asleep. She had a dream that told her she was healed. She went to the doctors & they confirmed this as true.

Right now there is prophecied that miracles that have never been done before will be done as God is pouring out His Spirit all around the world. The Word is getting preached around the world, etc...

Also another lady had a heart problem & she was tested with her own stem cells taken from her bone somehow. These were injected in her heart. After a while (not immediately) she found more strength in her arms & she could breath easier, & after a while she was back to normal. Then she was tested and found out with a normal healed heart. Then she is wondering why so many make an issue to use fetal stem cells when there is no miracles or successes with them, but there is succes with adult stem cells.

you know, i asked this question before and I got reemed by the fundies and christians out there. it seems when it comes to something they cant answer, they get defense and condemn u to tell and tell u not to mock god, yada yada yada. but you know, its a really good question. why is the 43 year old christian women with cancer cured after judging others her whole life while a 3 year old baby that didnt do anything wrong but has a birth defect not get cured? if u have time, go read the answers to my question...its pretty funny some of them.

same thing goes with martyrs...if someone is willing to die for thier religion then why doesnt God protect them from harm? if they are willing to sacrifice his ultimate gift (humanity) for his name then they should at least get a lil something in return.

Paul, there is no way in hell you fell thousands of feet, survived (which is possible), broke every bone in your body (most likely would have happend), and was up and normal the next week (def didnt happen)

Well, I wasn't an amputee, but I once fell thousands of feet from an airplane, and my body was almost completely obliterated when I hit the ground. There were no recognizable pieces left, and the doctors said I had less than a 1 in 10,000 chance of recovery. But my family and friend prayed for me, and within a week, I was up and walking again, and now I'm completely cured, thanks to the healing power of God.

Man, why is everyone so excited about that soldier's ear growing back? God regenerated both of my ears, both of my arms, one of my legs, my nose, and various other body parts too embarrassing to list here. Restoring one measly little ear used just a tiny fraction of God's amazing healing power.

Some believe that Adam and Eve could regenerate any body part and heal any injury, as well as live for eternity with cells regenerating regularly. After God sentenced them to death they now could die, be injured, get sick etc.. it's the curse on mankind.
You may have noticed that genetic diseases are, and have been, on the increase as the downward evolution continues.

Consider this scripture:

As Jesus was walking along, He saw a man who had been blind from birth. His disciples asked, "Teacher, why was this man born blind? Was it the result of his own sin, or those of his parents?" Jesus answered, "It was not because of his sin, or his parents sin. He was born blind so that the power of God could be seen in him." John 9:1-3

This is hard for people to grasp, but a lot of times people have physical ailments or conditions, not because God wants them to suffer, but so people can see God in them. When people who have suffered tremendously with disease, or missing limbs, for one and they still praise God and worship Him and trust Him that is a very powerful testimony. And there are those who do praise God despite their physical infirmities. There was a man ( true story) who had no arms or no legs who visited a church to share his testimony with the congregation. This man must have been the happiest man alive! He was so happy just to be alive and to be there to praise God. It is those types of people that can really win people to Christ. So instead of thinking that God hates amputees, maybe people just really need to consider that God has a reason for everything and not scoff when people say that God has a reason for everything.

Postscript: BTW: Jesus DID heal an amputee. He caused an ear to grow back.

The same way I explain why God doesn't heal birth defects, or mental retardation, or any other evil that crops up in the world: I dunno.

All I know is that God exists, is infinitely good, but still somehow there is evil in the world.

The fact that amputees don't spontaneously grow arms doesn't change my faith in God. It makes me impatient for science to advance to the place that it can regenerate limbs and stuff.

God gave us brains and curiosity and empathy and lab equipment for a reason.

technology/drugs has reattached severed limbs many situations. i'm no longer conscious of prayer doing this ever. Am I unsuitable? however the assertion is extra diffused that this and is going to the element of knowledge and faith healing quackery. So in line with threat you do no longer extremely comprehend the remark in the 1st place.

He healed the halt, the lame, the maimed in the Bible... I don't see why He cannot today. It is only because of unbelief and iniquity that these miracles do not occur today. If God can create Adam from the dust... I think He can do pretty much anything He well pleases.

I'd be curious to see a few links to stories of people "beating" HIV. You say they have HIV, and then they don't? Could you post a few links to those stories?

And then could you explain how it's the body "fighting" cancer, rather than God's miracle of modern medicine?

Or are you just making up something off the top of your head, without giving it 10 seconds of thought?
