Joel Owen
c. 1900 - 1930
Joel Owen was a British landscape painter who painted highland landscapes and other rural scenes. His landscapes are charcteristically atmospheric, painted in a traditional style. He has had many paintings auctioned (see below). I would contact any of the major auction houses Sotheby's Christies, etc. for advice.. and good luck!

Joel Owen was a British landscape artist and you can get a free valuation from a London auction house like Sothebys by sending/emailing details and photographs. Their web site is www.sothebys.com or go to www.artnet.com and pay a little. At the specialist Scottish painters sale at Dryburgh Abbey Hotel on 1st December 2005 a landscape by Joel Owen failed to make the reserve of a £1000

I see 'Guess who at large' has usurped me. You can trust his information
