That's not a good idea - it's not healthy for you and it's going to be too painful. Why torture yourself when you can take a more gradual and healthy approach?

Unless you are 300+ pounds, or are only talking about losing up to maybe 10 pounds - forget it.
Last year I lost 20 pounds in 30 days to go from 225 to 205 pounds. I was exercising hard for 3 hours per day, as well as dieting significantly.
To successfully lose weight - set a goal of x pounds. Do NOT set a dead line. Just keep going until you lose your x pounds.
But ultimately, you have to change your life, in order to keep the weight off. I recommend you change BEFORE starting the diet.

Technically, you could lose a pound a day, but you would not be losing fat. The only way you can lose a pound of fat is by reducing your caloric intake by 3500 calories (3500 calories equals one pound of fat). Under this diet, if you removed 500 calories a day from a 2000 calorie diet, you would lose one lbs a week. Combine that with excersise and you will lose more.
As far as losing a pound a day, the extra weight loss would come from losing water weight. If you force yourself to sweat excessivly and do not take in additional water (and especially sodium), you can lose a pound a day, but you will eventually put it back on. Additionally, it is not health, at all.

All you have to do is try not to eat as much and do allot of exercises you will have to do that for a whole day and if you want to loose a pound a day then you shouldn't eat after 8:00 because then while you are sleeping all of it will turn to fat and you should always weigh in the morning because during the summer when you sweat all of the fluids just make you weigh more then you really do, and remember always weigh before you eat or drink anything.

find an activity that will make you sweat to no end (boxing works best for me)
eat a can of tuna + an apple for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
drink lots of water
drink green tea before bed
This could definitely help you lose 10-15 pounds rather quickly, but I wouldn't recommend it as a long term alternative, or if you plan to go back to a regular junk diet right after because the pounds will come right back

Dont be unrealistic. If it was possible, thousands of people would have done it by now. If you think like this, then you will easily give up because you aren't meeting your goals. What you want to do is exercise a lot, mainly cardio and calorie-burning exercises. DONT EAT A TON LESS! that will just make you look shabbier. Eat, but read nutrition facts on the back for saturated/trans fats.

A pound is equivalent to about 3500 calories. What you would need to do is to combine additional exercise and reduced calorie intake for a combination of 3500 less calories each day. The amount of calories that you eat should not be reduced to less than about 1200 calories a day or your body will go into starvation mode and metabolism will be reduced to save fat. The balance should be made up with exercise.

You can but it is not realistic. 1-2 pounds a week is more healthy. If you lose weight to fast you regain. If you don't eat your body goes into starvation mode making you want to eat whatever you can. Cut out all junk food and sodas. Eat healthy. Good Luck!

There is a special very low carb broth diet that is given to people that need to loose weight for operations. I had a female friend try it some time ago and she was able to stick with it for about a week, but the weight was comming off....
