Why do "Athiests" talk, care, ask questions about God so much??

I am just trying to understand things from an Athiest's point of view is all... I am not judging I am just curious.

Well I am asking for myself... Yes I mispelled "atheist" terrible of me, but I mean nothing bad about my question.. I am a very confused person who is not sure what to I want to believe anymore, SO I question everything.

To try an understand the mass narrow mindedness I see so much. Not all religious people but many.

I am a pagan and a Taoist and an atheist. Don't forget that spirituality does not equal religion. And not all spiritual philosophies involve a deity. Think outside the box.

Aside from that, I actually am interested in the things Christians in particular say to try to convert people, because I have children and I fully expect Christian children to say these things to them when they find out my kids aren't Christian (it happened to me when I was younger, and oddly enough still happens).

So, I want to have thought about the Christian point of view and their arguments, so I can give a well-thought-out response to my children. I want to be able to clearly articulate what I think, because my ability to answer their questions may be important in my having credibility with my own children.

So I've been in forums like this for years now, and I'm really glad I did. Not only has it driven me further from Christianity than I ever thought I could be, but I think I can explain my views very well to my children, when they ask. I'm even keeping file of FAQ's.

But lest I get another ridiculous violation, I'll actually answer, now that I'm all loosened up.

Atheism is a religious position. What else should "atheists" as such talk about? You happen to cherish a totally unsupported, irrational belief, the legacy of the misconceptions of our ancestors, who didn't know as much about the universe as we do now. As long as you insist on it, there will be people who insist that you are wrong.

the answer to procure needs to keep away from the theory of religion (an emotion) and take care of reason purely, because it became tried by Socrates. different than that Socrates, surely, stored Goodness and God separate because of the fact they are 2 words with 2 distinctive meanings. Why have 2 words for an identical concept? Equivocation is the logical fallacy that needs you to have self belief that one concept could be integrated with yet another and that purely by doing so the theory is actual, whilst if it stands on my own it rather is fake. we can try this with a set of equivocal strategies including Love is God; fact is God; fact is God; Goodness is God; logic is God; reason is God, and so on. We additionally can say the different equivocal and contradictory strategies, which i assume somebody could could enumerate like this: Hate is devil; Falseness is devil; the factitious is devil; the Illogical is devil; the Irrational is devil, and so on. All we are rather doing is anthropomorphize precis strategies. usually a non secular guy or woman needs to apply reason to assist faith, no longer because of the fact he needs to understand the fact, yet because of the fact he needs to conceal from it. you spot, if a non secular guy or woman can shop you busy with equivocations, allegories, and poetical units, which could be infinite, then, he thinks, he can shop logic and faith interior an identical basket as though they meant an identical difficulty and on no account could face the fact that one finally leads to understanding the different finally leads to myth.

Because they waiver in their faith. If they truly believed that they would soon be nothing more than worm dirt then they wouldn't be wasting precious seconds of life trying to convince others that they will be nothing more. They are wanting someone to convince them that God is real, and their afraid that he might just be. A true atheist would waste their time. 23 minutes in Hell, youtube. What if?

If politicians in this country make decisions based on their religion beliefs, and the predominant religion is Christianity, then I am going to take an interest in what Christian are saying.
