I’ve ran into a ton of woman who love to lie about this.
I ask a simple question like " What country you from ???
and they tell you " Oh I am a mutt I am 1/2 Chinese, 1/3 Italian, 1/9 Dutch, 1/30 Swiss, 1/90th Norwegian, 1/5 German , 1/8 French, 1/3 Portuguese, 1/2 Chiwawa and part German Shepard……and ummmm….Oh yeh and part native American ( they usually say Cherokee )……
WHy Cherokee? Is that the only tribe you can think of? Just Pathetic !!
Why do they feel like they have to lie and make stuff up when they have no idea where their ancestors are from?
If you don't know.......DON'T make stuff up! It's silly! You are not any cooler by making stuff up!
Just to let you know it is VERY ANNOYING!! You must have low self esteem....to make stuff up to try to make your self sound exotic.
DONT DO IT!!

HA Ha aahhh haa haha LOL! This was some funny stuff I just read! This is so true bro! Why women do this I dont know...Just like right after you get married women make a mad dash to the refridgerator and start eating everything in sight getting plump! Why is this? Women do some crazy stuff man, but to answer your question..In my opinion women do this to make themselves look bigger or grander or more important than what they really are.. If they said I am just white, that sounds too boring..but if they say I am 1/2 Irish and 1/2 german then to them that sounds intriguing and they think that perhaps you might want to learn more. As for the people you stated that said were 1/90th this 1/2 this and 1/40th of the other those people are just trying to compensate for something that they are lacking.

I don't know why people LIE about their ancestry. If they truly are lying, I guess it's because they think it sounds cool to be whatever it is they come up with (especially Native American). The reason Americans tell you their pedigree is that America is a relatively new nation made up mostly of people whose not-very-distant ancestors came from other parts of the world. It gives them a feeling of having a cultural identitiy, since America is such a hodge podge.

I agree wholeheartedly with you. I cannot understand why everyone likes to lie about who they are.
Truth be told, over half of us are of mixed ancestry, we just might not be able to identify it. So why lie?
When Tiger Woods came out and said he was 1/8 this and 2/8 that and 3/8 something else, etc., I laughed. I thought: All I see is a black man with a Philippine mama.

Time after time you hear a white American rattle off all these European countries describing themselves and they always end with some native American tribe for emphasis. Usually it is Cherokee. It never fails to make me laugh because I know its a load of bull. They want to feel special.

It is very good you are concerned about this. The reason is you are questioned being lie too. Many women work at being better more convincing lairs, to be little miss entitlement princess or any other fantasy (lie) she happens to try get you to buy into. And a lier will continue to lie.

First of all,... you have to remember,... America is a melting pot,... we all usually have several diff bloodlines in us.
LOL,... i actually DO have cherokee and portuguese,... and some swiss, lol,... but that makes me no more and no less,...
so maybe they just arent really sure where they come from,... except that America is a mix of everyone.

well their are alot of mixed breeds in america We have a little of everything in us... Many of our families come from all over the world maybe they arent lieing..... I am from TEXAS plain and simple lol
