No, not at all:) My sister is 6 feet tall and she s never drunk milk cause she can t digest the lactose. You are only 14 so you have many years ahead to keep growing. Just eat things that have calcium and that will help your bones.

If you are still within the growing age then perhaps you can add a few inches by eating a balanced diet and leading an active life. A nutritious diet that includes fruits and vegetables, dairy, cereals, meat, and plenty of water will aid the natural process for enhancing height. A good and proper night’s sleep is also essential for the growth process. Taking part in active sports along with some stretching exercises can have a cumulative effect on human growth. There is not much we can do to grow taller after puberty. There are many products in the market today that claim to increase height of adults, but they are all scams without sufficient scientific evidence. Surgical options, though available, are EXTREMELY RISKY and of course expensive. This leaves us with basically two options.
1. Stretching Exercises: - These exercises will help you improve your posture. You’ll be surprised that how much of “Height” is hidden behind your slouched back. You can, at any age, add an inch or two of height by simply improving your posture. Follow the link below for information on specific height enhancing exercises:

2. Second, you can create a “Taller” effect by following some smart fashion techniques. You can easily add another inch or two of “illusionary height” by improving your dress coordination. The link below can provide some input on height increase through fashion effect:

Good luck

I was 4ft 9in until i was 15 and then i shot up to 5ft 7in..which is how tall i am today and I'm 23. I never drink milk. I would suggest getting your calcium some way. I take multi-vitamins everyday. But i doubt your short because you don't drink milk. And you may not get much taller, but once again, I doubt its from milk.

There's a lot of fall out to not drinking milk. It is a good source of calcium. There are other sources, but if you don't get enough it will stunt your growth. It can also effect your hair and nails making them thin and brittle. You will also make yourself lactose intolerant. Humans are born with the enzyme needed to digest milk at birth. The enzyme continues to exist as long as it's used. If you go a long period of time without dairy, that enzyme sort of dies.

No one can really tell how tall you will be without factoring in your parents height. Milk probably didn't have a factor in it at all. My guess is that you may be genetically short. Give your parents height and a doctor can probably average it out for you. That's what mine did.

You will definitely be more susceptible to breaking bones all the time and osteoporosis when your older. And that's not good at all.
as far as your height goes, you're ONLY 14. you haven't finished growing yet. my cousin (boy) was 5'5" all through high school and then grew 7 inches after HS graduation.

A nutritious diet makes people taller on average. It also makes them live longer. Genetics play a much greater role, though.
