I have a large master bath that needs mirrors on all three walls. I found a large framed mirror that I really like that will fit well on the two large walls. I'd like to purchase another, though, and have it resized to fit the remaining small wall. I'm wondering if it is possible to pay to have someone recut the mirror and frame to the size needed. The height is fine; I just need the length changed.

Most glass shops will re-cut glass for a small fee. You would probably then have to take it to a frame shop to have it re-framed.

sure it can take it to a glass and mirror store and they can cut it They most likely can fix the frame too but they will send you to a framer if they can't.
If the mirror has a bevel which is the one inch slanted boarder around the mirror you cannot re size properly because you would be cutting off the boarder on one side. You might be able though to have them take the extra off both sides so you have a boarder on top and bottom only. Not recommended.
I will tell you though unless this is a mirror you really love you will probably be able to buy new for what you will pay to re-do

Should be possible. Take the mirror to a glass shop and the frame to a picture framing shop. By the time it's done it probably won't be the cheapest in the world. You could attempt to do it yourself with a glass cutter and a miter saw, but you'd have to be careful.

A place like Hobby Lobby or Michaels might do both for you.

You can get it cut at any glass store/company (auto - probably not) for a fairly reasonable fee or you can go to your local hardware store get a glass cutter for about $3 and cut it yourself. You measure it, use something straight (preferably a board or metal ruler) the along the whole width of the cut.., place the cutter blade along the straight edge and apply a fair amount of pressure, pull the cutter toward you, applying even pressure in one steady cut. Put the cut edge just over the end of the table and holding down the bulk of the mirror with one hand, apply pressure to hold it firmly to the table and with your other hand grasp the middle of the overhanging mirror and quickly pop it down toward the floor...the piece will break of evenly along the cut line. Wear gloves throughout...
Or just take it to the guy at the glass store.

Check your local phone book for a mirror/glass shop. They can resize it easily. You might have to take the frame to a frame shop for resizing. Good luck!

That really should not be a problem.....may end up costing $$$. Should try to check with a store like Hobby Lobby or Michaels....that does frame work reasonable

Yes, IF there is no bevel on the edge. If the glass in the frame has a bevel you would not be happy with the results becaue it will disappear on the edge that is sized and look wrong.
