Some women do; some don't. The same goes for men. It's not fair to generalize.

My gf has admitted to being wrong a few times, and so have I. It should be a give and take relationship. It's not a contest, nor a competition. Help each other out, don't blame, support each other, etc.

Learn from this. Take care.

Well Frankie - I don't think this tendency is exclusive to women. I think that many people - in general - can't admit when they're wrong. I think one of the reasons for this is because when someone admits they're wrong about something they may get the 'i told you so', etc. and eventually they just don't feel comfortable about doing it. If all women you know can't admit they're wrong - perhaps you aren't giving them a comfortable arena to do it in. Take a look at how you have reacted to them when they have and you may have your answer!

It's not just women who won't admit they're wrong. There are plenty of men who are the same way believe me. I can admit when I'm wrong. If it bothers you that much date different girls.

I would say that men are far guiltier of this offense than women are... but ultimately, this isn't about gender, but what personality makeup of an individual.

We do live under a culture where saving face is essential for survival and it is easier for us, men and women alike, as human beings, to place blame elsewhere rather than to admit that we are flawed human beings, and society isn't being very helpful otherwise.

This would be a far better world if we all admitted to ourselves and those around us that we are all flawed human beings in our own way, and embrace our human nature rather than shun it (as most have been brainwashed by religious organizations to do).

Ultimately, this isn't genderbased, but rather personality based.

Why do you hold blaming women human beings for all your problems, improve a pair and guy up and be to blame on your individual strikes and end blaming women human beings for each thing that has long gone incorrect on your existence.

This isn't just women. Pride and being stubborn is also a characteristic of some men as well.

i'm wrong quite a lot, and will admit it.

no one's perfect.

oh yah, and i'm a woman.... my kids even knew when i was wrong, because i always sat them down and let them know when i felt i was wrong.

i dont want people to think i'm like my father was -- righteous. most of the time, i'm NOT....

We won't admit were wrong because we do not believe that we are.
