my memories are of mom and dad and my family when growing up, had a lot of love in my family, dad had 13 brothers and sisters all together, mom was the only child in her family, mom and dad had 6 of us and there was enough love to go around for everyone, we never had much money or the fancy clothes, they were all hand me downs, mom made our clothes, we had very little in material things, , but it was a great family, I am sad because they are gone but the love is still there in my heart, and one day we will be together again..

The best time in my life was the 2 yrs I lived up north on a farm when I was a child - between the ages of 8 and 10. We lived in a little farm house and we were not rich - but not too poor either. We had a lot of land and land surrounding us. There were five of us kids, my siblings and 2 cousins staying with us. We played outside all day long and had so much fun. Climbing trees, picking wild strawberries, tire swinging, ice skating on a stream in winter, growing our own gardens, and building tree houses and forts. We had cats and dogs and we'd go visit the neibors cows and feed them carrots.
It was pretty blissfull. I somehow lived it up as much as I could cause I was a child and didn't know any different way to live. And I was sad for many years after we had to move from there because my father lost his job and there was no work there. I do cherish those memories and to this day I believe that farm living is the life for me - and I have lived in many kinds of houses, apartments and even a trailer.... so, I would love to go back to that lifestyle.

i cherish each memory; some make me sad, some happy.
but i know that i will continue to have 'best times', because my adventures on Life's path are not over yet, and that each experience has had a specific reason for it to have happened, or for it to happen in the future
blessed be

The best time and the worst time was as a child. Through all of the abuse, I escaped to places that kept my spirit alive with my imagination. I cherish that time because I survived it and didn't lose myself completely.

I cherish it. But it'll only be the best time for a while longer, the new best is yet to come.

Both. It's called nostalgia.
I am happy that I moved on to what I have now, but I miss some of the adventures I had in the past, too.
