fundamentalists are CRAZY, STAR CRAZY! im pretty sure the pentacostals fall in that category. they believe that if you dont speak in toungues during worship, God can't understand you. In other words if you dont get up and start faking convulsions and speaking gibberish, youre going to hell. and that is rediculous, the New Testament doesnt require us to speak in toungues. The penties belive that "toungues" is the language of Jesus, which was Aramaic. They say that Jesus fills their mind and tells them what to say. And that is such an abomination on soo many levels. It's really sad. But I am a non-denomination Christian. We dont speak in toungues, we dont dance down the aisles, we dont have instruments, its very simple and is everything the Bible says. and nothing it doesnt. Oh and about the dress code, God only suggests a certain dress code for worship. That doesnt mean you have to go buy some $50,000 Armani suit...just throw on some khakis and a polo and youre set... I actually wear jeans to church now. and then an American Eagle shirt or something. But the Bible does say to look your best for the Sabbath worship. idk...

I go to a Pentecostal church.
I do believe in modesty and holy dress.
I am not as strict in my thinking on that subject as other Holiness members (but it is very loose by others standards).
Why do you think it was bad for them to pray for the sick woman? Just because most people get sick on that roller coaster does that mean Jesus is not willing to make them better?

Thanks for posting this "non-question". You've done your job in the cause to help make Christians look bad. You could have phoned the amusement park you visited you know? BTW....according to Scripture you should have spoken with the group in question. There is such a thing as a chain of command you know? My spirit is grieved. You might want to try admonishing Christians rather than putting them down. Thanks!

catholic & protestants denominations don't think anything about outward appearance.
those living in the world never do.
women today look like egyptian women in their appearance ... face, jewelry, clothing.
the "beauty" of egyptian women w/ their fine clothing, jewels, jewelry, painted eyes, face & lips was associated with the haughty, the heathen, the wicked, & those who forsook God.
b/c God chose these things to represent rebellion & unholiness, born-again Christians should not wear these things.
God is not pleased with their wonton appearance (lustful).
if you really studied God's Word, from beginning to end, you would see what pleases God & what does not.
God wants Christ-like women to be holy & separate from the world.
outward appearances are ALWAYS determined by inward attitudes.... it shows what is truly in your heart.
you may say you live for God & are holy & modest ...
but you may be wearing a shirt that is too tight & cut too low showing cleavage... or wearing clothes (shorts, pants, skirt) that is so tight that every curve & bump show, & w/ splits that come up to your rear or are too high in the front or side.
this shows a lustful spirit... not of God.
God's people should not look the same as the world...
it is for the christian's benefit.
He showed us that in His Word
1 tim.2:9 -10 (referring to godly women)
"In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness (modesty) and sobriety (showing no excessive or extreme qulalities of fance);
not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array"
"But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works."
1 peter 3:3 (referring to godly women)
"Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;"
"For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:" (1 peter 3:5)
the people that you saw don't go by a list of rules....
only personal conviction that was given to them when God infilled them with His Spirit.
you may claim that you are filled w/ the Holy Ghost, but it is easy to tell if it's true, just by your appearance & mannerisms.
you can always tell a born-again Christian by their outward appearance.
likewise, you can always tell when a person is not of God ...
for what is in their heart, will always show forth & is manifest in their outward appearance.
2000 years may have passed, but God is the same today, yesterday & forever.
times may have changed, but God's MORALS never do.

Uhh, why don't you say this to that one particular group, instead of all "fundies"? And just so you know, Baptists are "fundies" too.
I wear flip flops, t-shirt and shorts full time here in SoCal, so, you're pretty ignorant.

If they believe that, leave them alone. Altho I agree with you, I think highly of them for living up to their beliefs. And they're not hurting anyone. Let them be.

Ok. And everything that follows your initial question has what, exactly, to do with your, well, initial question?
