I believe that if a guy kisses you on the forehead he showing that he feels kind of like your protector. I think he probably adores you.

Could mean just friends or it could mean that he loves you so much that he doesn't have to kiss you on the lips to prove it or that he feels like he is protecting you by standing over you...

I kiss my grilfriend on her forehead when I want to let her know how very special and precious she is to me. I sometimes do it to close friends.

In most cases it's a "love you like a sister" kind of thing. Sorry. Unless, you've been together for a long time (years) it doesn't mean anything romantic.
