All that saying is, truthfully, is a figure of speech. However, the Hardcore christians (no Offense) have decided that God's name should not be spoken unless it's followed by a bible verse.

It's just a figure of speech. I don't use it that often because I think it makes me sound valley-girlesque, but when I do use it I certainly don't consider it "taking the lord's name in vain."

I dunno, I always thought it was rather illogical to claim ownership of such a being that can't be owned... but that's another matter entirely. I also get a bit of a "hmmm" out of people who say "Jesus is Lord"... well that's a bit obvious from their point of view isn't it?

well since i think the universe revolves around me, i naturally assume that they are talking about my god....

do you think that there are other gods out there?? i think not!!!

(you can tell why my friends LOVE me so much can't you... LOL )
