There has been tons of warnings circulated through email and the internet that the use of deodorants and antiperspirants, especially using deos containing aluminium, can cause breast cancer. The suggestion is that a chemical is absorbed through the skin through a shaving nick or cut, and causes breast cancer.
According to the National Cancer Institute, "researchers at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) are not aware of any conclusive evidence linking the use of underarm antiperspirants or deodorants and the subsequent development of breast cancer. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration, which regulates food, cosmetics, medicines, and medical devices, also does not have any evidence or research data that ingredients in underarm antiperspirants or deodorants cause cancer."

Heeeey, don't be soo stressed out! It's ok, just using a deo with aluminum doesn't mean you'll get breast cancer but that there may be a risk in that direction (even that is debated but I too chose to be on the safe side).
Stop using that deo -you can buy natural/organic deodorants at some stores and they actually work.
If you're worried abt cancer (breast cancer that is) -check in with a doctor. But seriously..why are u so stressed out? Mammograms would be the tests to do after a certain age, to periodically check for cancer signs. Again, your doc would be more informed. Prevention is best!

Any anti-persperant at all has aluminum in it. The aluminum is what prevents the sweat. If you are concerned about it (study's have only linked, not proven anything), then switch to a deodorant. It doesnt make you not sweat, but it does help cover up the smell. Good luck to you.

"The main concern lately with antiperspirants is the aluminum they contain which can be absorbed into the body. Aluminum has been linked to Alzheimer’s disease and other physical disorders. See the article on Aluminum Toxicity http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art7739.asp for more information."

This is one of those persistant urban legends . . in fact its one of the top ten myths about anti-perspirants. The myths are perpetuated by half truths and Internet sites which have no basis of scientific fact . . just opinions.
American Cancer Society: Antiperspirant Use Does Not Increase Risk Of Breast Cancer
Study Proves Pervasive Rumor Is Not Fact

FDA: Sweat

Currently there is no documented or scientific facts to back up these types of fears. But, if it bothers you that much change to something different.

I have heard about this in terms of Alzheimer's Disease. And, not everyone is in agreement about it. If you are worried, consider using something without aluminum in it.
