I would be happy if you would not give me quotes from the bible, but your simple opinion. This question is not for religious people only, it is for everyone since morality is a matter of society, not religion

That which goes against morality.

Or...not being lined up with the Absolute Right and Absolute Wrong...

Not so much as defining immorality...I think the question I'd like to ask is...where does morality come from? Evolution - to what benefit, since altruism is counterproductive. Society determines right and wrong? would Germany in the 1930s be a good example to cite? Or from a force outside society?

That which violates the bounds of morality. Without the Bible, such a boundary can me moved according to the dictates of society, thus leading to unhealthy and dangerous license (NAMBLA) or strangling limitation (Victorian Era).

Immoral is hurting someone or something else. Immoral is backstabbing at work to get ahead. Immoral is cheating on a loved one. Immoral is not teaching your children right from wrong. Immoral is taking what does not belong to you. Immoral is shoving your beliefs into our laws.

Immorality comes from lack of respect for self and others and lack of self control. Something that is immoral is something that is not natural and goes against social norms.

I rather liked Terry Pratchett's notion that immorality is the act of treating people as if they were things.

I am a new age Buddhist and believe that all immorality comes from the source of destruction.
Which is universal.
Destruction leads to suffering, death, hurt, pain.
On the other hand, there is productivity.

Think about it.
