In my church we don't have a paid clergy. Everyone gets a turn to give a talk. The last time I talked in Sacrament was on prayer. Next time I am asked I would like to talk about how the last words in the Old Testament tie into the New Testament and how we can find the spirit of Elijah today.

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

I would have to say, the love of God. I would focus on the questions that Paul asked the Roman Church in Romans 8:31-39. These questions show us that we can be convinced in God's love for us.

Question 1: If God be for us, then who can be against us?

Question 2: He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Gim up for us all, how shall he not with Him also freely give us all things?

Question 3 (and quite possibly my favourite): Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect?

Question 4: Who is he that condemneth?

Question 5: Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?

Those few verses are some of my favourites in the entire Bible. God Bless.

I have to pray and let God choose the topic he said to take no thought what you shall say or speak but let the Holy Ghost reveal it unto you.

Well I glad I cant. Thats whats wrong with some of these churches. They try and tell the Pastor what to preach. I want to hear what the Holy Spirit leads my Pastor to preach.

Hypocrisy. There are too many people who would like you to believe that they are have one set of beliefs, but yet turn around and do something that contradicts those same set of beliefs.

"Self"

So many times we (Christians) look at others and the things of this world and blame them for the way we are,the way our life is, etc...but if we just took time to look at ourself we could find the real, foundational problam... and fix it. Start from inside out.
